  1. Hi.. This is really fantastic work.. The card looks so elegant and beautiful.. The blue colour is so pleasant..The flowers make it look soooo pretty.. The border punch is very nice and suits very well..:) Superb card..I love it sooooooooo much..

  2. Thanks Merlyn your comment is so encouraging...

  3. Khusboo this is very beautiful. Your colors are awesome. I also think your hat is awesome. On my blog you wanted to know how I made the top over the card. If I understand which part you meant, I think it is the lavender heart. If so, this is a die from Cheery Lynn Designs. It is the heart die, and I took the largest piece and just layered it over the image's corner.

The area you are speaking about, which you called the hearth, again, if I understand what you mean; is just some darker card stock. I nearly always start out with either a very light piece of card stock for the card base or a very dark piece. If I want it distressed, I will distress the next layer, and use the opposite of what I just finished. (So if I started with a light color of card stock, I now use dark, or if I started with dark, I use light. I like to layer papers, as I think it gives the card a more dressed up feeling. Then I add my design paper, and I use either the dark or light paper behind it.

I hope I haven't totally confused you. Thanks for your comments. Hugs, dj1952
